What happens when you stop living by the rules of your illness?
We follow Sebastian, who finds an unexpected lightness in the face of his own mortality. He replaces fear with acceptance – and shows us the power that lies in one’s inner attitude.
Sebastian has been living with a brain tumor diagnosis for 14 years. Three recurrences, multiple surgeries, and countless therapies behind him. But this film is not a story of suffering. It is the opposite.
Because Sebastian doesn’t fight. Instead, he runs, swims, and loves in defiance of death.
An intimate portrait of a man who finds his own way of living with an incurable illness. With disarming honesty, dark humor, and Buddhist serenity, he shows us that the greatest healing takes place not in the body – but in the mind.
